This is the most popular Star Wars character on social media, report

The force is still strong in the Star Wars franchise and some characters seem to be stronger on social media than others, according to a new report by Adobe.

Darth Vader is the character that has been mentioned the most with nearly 600,000 mentions globally in the 90 days leading up to the premiere of The Force Awakens.

The droid BB-8 is the runner-up with 513,000 mentions followed by Yoda at 483,000 and Chewbacca who’s landing on 264,000.

Among Swedish users the results are similar.

Darth Vader claims the top spot followed by R2-D2, Yoda, Chewbacca and C-3PO.

Finland and Denmark also seem to like the father of Luke Skywalker whereas Norwegians tend to talk more about Yoda than Darth Vader on social media, according to Adobe’s Digital Index report.
