The verdict is in: Clothing company H&M is the best Swedish brand on YouTube, according to a report by Chimney.

Adam Jönsson

The channels were researched during May of 2016. Chimney’s ranking is an attempt to show which Swedish brands are the most effective on the Google-owned video platform.

H&M tops the list for the first time since the ranking started three years ago. Gas station Preem won in 2015. Betting company ATG swept the first place in 2014.

The Swedish clothing brand nicked the first place with its 145 000 views per video on average.

‘‘It’s clear that H&M has a well thought out strategy with its channel. This in combination with YouTube advertising makes the channel very effective,’’ says Peter Söderlind, CEO at Chimney, in a comment.
