Sveriges Annonsörer acquires full ownership of 100-wattaren
Sveriges Annonsörer and Sveriges Kommunikationsbyrårer has reached a deal, which will see Sveriges Annonsörer increasing its ownership of the communications award 100-wattaren from 75 to 100 per cent.
The two organization has shared the ownership since 2009.
‘‘The acquisition is a part of our strategic plan to develop our business to benefit our members,’’ Anders Ericson, CEO Sveriges Annonsörer, says in a press release.
100-wattaren is a contest that rewards powerful and effective communication. The contest has been around since 1990.
‘‘The decision to leave wasn’t easy. But as an association we always want to challenge and develop ourselves and our industry – that’s not possible as a minority owner,’’ says Jessica Bjurström, CEO Sveriges Kommunikationsbyråer.
