Snapchat makes you happier than Facebook
Facebook is still the most used social medium in Sweden, but among the younger generation Snapchat is quickly taking ground. And no wonder why, according to researchers from University Michigan it makes us way happier.
Snapchats constantly increase in popularity; CEO Evan Spiegel reported earlier this year that the app is home to 100 million daily users. In Sweden about 13 percent of the Internet using population use Snapchat on an everyday basis.
While some claim that Snapchat’s success comes from the younger generation seeking a new social media venue free from parents, teachers and/or coworkers the reason why youths choose Snapchat over Facebook might be way more simple – it makes them happier.
University of Michigan researchers found in a recent study that when it comes to experiencing the most rewarding interactions, Snapchat follows right behind face-to-face meetups.
