Sony Insights is the new app that gives artists immediate access to data about all revenue streams.

The app has been developed by Sony Music in order to increase transparency toward artists and managers.

Sony Insights provides the user with all data the record company has in terms of revenue streams, along with other statistics like social media followers over time.

The app will first be launched in Sweden with the aim to then expand to other countries. According to Sony Music, the service is both unique and groundbreaking.

“The music industry has long since suffered from insufficient transparency, notwithstanding the technical prerequisites have improved in every way,” says Mark Dennis, CEO of Sony Music, in a press release.
